For professionals who are involved in implementing project management offices and the governances for portfolios and project management, it is clear that successful implementation cannot be done without clear organizational change.
The presentation will focus on the needs for effective and efficient change management that must be initiated from above and conducted by senior management but also address the need for senior management to be accountable for the success of the change management initiative.
Jimmy Char, PMO Manager, Siveco, will define the recommended steps to follow in order to initiate and conduct the organizational change management efficiently.

 Jimmy Char (b. 1957) is the Founder and President of the PMI Bulgaria Chapter www.pmi.bg, he is acting as the PMO Director for SIVECO Romania SA. www.siveco.ro while he is the Executive Director of SKILLS Ltd. www.skillsltd.com, a consulting, training and corporate customized e-learning service provider. Jimmy has over 25 years experience in project and program management and over 15 years expertise in providing training and consulting services in Business and Project Management. He achieved Project Management Professional Certification in 2000 opening him to a series of volunteering activities with PMI. He became the Vice-president for Training and Education for PMI Romania Chapter in 2002 and then he sponsored and formed the PMI Lebanon Chapter in 2004. His contribution to different PMI Chapters helped in creating local awareness and understanding of the Project Management values.
He opened and held the position of Executive Director of Bull Bulgaria from 2004 till 2007 where he left to open his own company SKILLS Ltd.
During his heavy career, Jimmy was directing and managing large and complex projects across many countries among them Lebanon, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Djibouti, Libya, Romania and Bulgaria, leading skilled teams to successful and efficient running of his project. He was Lecturer, Teacher and Speaker in many events and seminars across the globe and contributor to many articles, studies and book; the latest being “Business Driven PMO Setup” of Mark Perry.
Jimmy was graduated from “Ecole Superieure d’Informatique, Paris” and followed to path that brought him to the success. He is a fighter when it comes to Process and Methodologies making him very strict in respecting the rules and the regulations while satisfying his stakeholders’ expectations.
